Ginger-Sesame Asparagus Recipe

This awesome Asparagus recipe was recommended to me by Sue in Mississippi. Not only is this dish incredibly easy, but the health benefits of asparagus are amazing. Asparagus is loaded with folic acid. So, if you are pregnant or thinking about getting pregnant, it can help prevent birth defects such as spina bifida. It also helps nursing mothers with milk production. Dig in!

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed

Make it
  1. Heat Broiler.
  2. Combine ginger, oil and soy sauce in small bowl.
  3. Coat asparagus with mixture.
  4. Broil until asparagus are cooked and tips begin to brown, about 5-8 minutes
