Sommer and Me

Total Time: 1 hour 8 minutes

ABSOLUTE (3:47)
The Fray
*good warm-up song

TO THE BEAT OF OUR NOISY HEARTS (3:02)
Matt Nathanson
*nice steady beat to get going on a run or flat row

RIGHT ROUND (3:27)
Flo Rida
*Great faster-paced beat, gets me going and pumps me up! Also good for lifting...=)

I DON'T CARE (3:39)
Fall Out Boy
*I like this song for jumps or seated/standing climb intervals, has a good pace to keep up with...

ALWAYS IN LOVE (4:03)
Graham Colton
*great for recovery, warm up, or flat row

POKER FACE (3:57)
Lady GaGa
*Funky song with a good beat (slower, for higher resistance or running hills)...my spin instructor uses this for seated/standing climb intervals and jumps

LET IT ROCK (3:56)
Kevin Rudolf and Lil Wayne
*I like this better for running than spinning, but it's overall just a good cardio song, and somewhat motivating =)

JUST DANCE (4:02)
Lady GaGa
*good pace for higher resistance on a bike; another funky song. My spin instructor uses this for a harder flat row...

SHAKE IT (3:00)
Metro Station
*Upbeat song that has a strong fast pace...good overall cardio song

STILL FEELS GOOD (3:54)
Rascal Flatts
*happy song that makes me smile...keeps me going when I get tired...good for a recovery song

GOD LOVE HER (3:37)
Toby Keith
*funny song, better for running than spinning I think.

HEADSTRONG (4:46)
TRAPT
*this was on my field hockey team's warm up tape in college, and it's a good song for when you really need to dig deep and finish a kick-butt workout...definitely gets the competitor in me fired up!

MY LIFE WOULD SUCK WITHOUT YOU (3:31)
Kelly Clarkson
*overall good cardio...could be good for jump intervals during the chorus...

RUNNIN' DOWN A DREAM (4:21)
Tom Petty
*A classic. Great for a warm up or the first song after that to get your pace going and it makes you feel like you have somewhere to get to...haha...

LOOKIN' FOR A GOOD TIME (3:07)
Lady Antebellum
*funny song, makes me smile; good beat

NO REINS (3:21)
Rascal Flatts
*good warm up/flat row/steady run...has an upbeat chorus, possibly good for sprint intervals

4 MINUTES (4:05)
Madonna ft/Justin Timberlake
*I like this to be the last song before my cool down...it's upbeat and strong, and makes me want to finish up my workout that way. Plus, you know you have to only make it to the end of the song and then you are done! =)

SYNDICATE (3:30)
The Fray
*A mellow, gentle cooldown song...the singer's voice always makes me chill out a bit (several songs off their new CD would make good cool down tracks)

Hope you enjoy some of these and find them motivating and fun, for whatever cardio workouts you enjoy! Keep working hard! =)
