Beef Tenderloin Recipe with Adobe Paste

This beef tenderloin recipe is awesome! We are always looking to mix it up in the kitchen without all the hassle and this was a total hit. Added bonus…it’s an incredible source of protein and iron, which women tend to be a little short on at times. Not to mention, it only takes about 15 minutes, start to finish! You can’t beat that!

Serves 4

  • 1 tbsp packed brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp of fresh lime juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp chile powder
  • 16 ounces beef tenderloin, cut into 4 fillets

  1. Preheat grill or broiler.
  2. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, lime juice, garlic, olive oil and chile powder. Mix to make paste.
  3. Spread 1 tsp paste on each side of beef fillets. Broil to desired doneness, about 3-5 minutes per side.
